Al Mushatta sponsors a 4 day apparel market event in Las Vegas

The Investors and Eastern Arab for Industrial and Real Estate Investments (IEAI) flagship project, Al Mushatta, participated in the biannual 'Magic Show' apparel event which was held in Las Vegas- United States of America.
"This exhibition provided us with a golden opportunity to interact with the right experts and investors in the industry and highlight the latest developments that Al Mushatta is undergoing on a regional and international level", said Mr. Mohammad Turk CEO of IEAI.
The Jordanian garment and textile sector has been active and successful in attracting foreign investments into the country. This in turn provided Jordan with an opportunity to open trade channels with the US market, create jobs and pave the way for other industries to operate in Jordan. Total exports are forecasted to reach USD 1.245 Billion for 2007.
The Jordanian pavilion of the Magic Show is funded by Jordan Enterprise and Tatweer, a USAID funded project.

Established as a public shareholding company in 2002 with an investment capital of JD 30 million, IEAI was created with the aim of initiating heavy and medium high tech industries in Jordan. In addition, the company seeks to capitalize on trade agreements which encourage foreign investment, as well as benefit from local labor and government incentives, in order to optimize the potential of the company's investment growth.
