American-Kuwaiti Alliance establishes Kuwait City office

The American-Kuwaiti Alliance (AKA) is pleased to announce that Mr. Fahad Al-Amji has been named Managing Director of its new Kuwait City office located at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

An official welcoming ceremony and reception announcing the office opening was held Sunday, September 9th 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry Building.

The Opening Ceremony was Under the Patronage of H. E. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was attended by Ministers, VIPs, AKA Founding Members, Senior Officials of the US Embassy, business executives from Kuwait and US companies operating in Kuwait.

Mr. Al-Ajmi brings to the Alliance several years of management and consulting experience gained in both the government and private sectors. Through these years he developed and managed regional and international strategies creating valuable business opportunities and building professional relationships with clients, and exchanging business culture between Kuwait and other countries.

Mr. Al-Ajmi holds a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Maastricht Business School; and has a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Long Beach, in Mechanical Engineering.

"The addition of Fahad and the opening of our new Kuwait City office will significantly enhance our ability to promote successful commercial, trade, and political relationships between our nations. The presence of a full-service office and senior staff in Kuwait will complement our Washington-based efforts and is a bold step forward with effective guidance and increased understanding,"
