- PRESS RELEASE
Out of its commitment and dedication towards innovation in the Middle East market, HP Middle East announced today another unique partnership with Jalal Luqman, an accomplished digital artist from the United Arab Emirates during GITEX Technology Week 2007.
Jalal Luqman, said: "My paintings are very vibrant, using a full range of colors which means my printing needs are very demanding with a need for exact tones and shades. Using HP's reliable Photosmart and Large Format printers, I am able to produce gallery-quality-prints in very less time. Thanks to HP, I'm fueled with endless ideas, and the printing solutions give me the flexibility to explore them."
Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, Middle East, said: "HP is very excited to partner with Jalal Luqman. Such partnerships open up a window for us to build relationships with the most prestigious figures in the field of Art - and what better platform there is than GITEX where we can exchange ideas and opinions. We strongly urge visitors and customers alike to visit the HP stand to witness an amazing blend of Technology with Art."
HP offers high-end solutions targeting graphic designers ranging from powerful workstations to printers that produce pictures with upto 200 years fade resistance. HP also offers a range of consumers printing solutions that allow printing directly from digital cameras and memory cards even without using computer
Jalal's work will be digitally captured and printed on HP Designjet Z6100.
HP's latest Designjet series enables customers to increase productivity and extends HP's portfolio of trusted large-format printers that more customers can depend on. The HP Designjet Z6100 features HP DreamColor Technologies, a certified system of colour technologies, such as an embedded spectrophotometer that make it easy to produce accurate, predictable and consistent colour across a series of digital colour devices.
As one of the few digital artists in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jalal is reshaping the way people look at art. One reason Jalal's paintings are so intriguing is the manner in which they are created. Previously, Jalal has worked with several mediums, however, his favorite way to create combines acrylic paints, and computer graphics. However, the mystique behind his art does not result from combining traditional painting methods with cutting-edge technology. Rather, it stems from precisely how Jalal blends these two styles together.
