Trend Micro builds on sales strategy to data security in region

Trend Micro, the region's key content security provider, today cemented its regional sales strategy with the promotion of a leading member of the IT profession.

Nisar Khan has more than 20 years of experience, primarily in business development, across a broad range of hardware and software brands.

"This promotion is part of our continued investment in personnel and proof of our commitment to an expanded service in the region," said Justin Doo, Managing Director, Trend Micro Middle East/North Africa.

"Recurrent and often spectacular successes throughout for the company have generated growth and increased channel awareness, placing demands on the organisation. Capable professionals such as Nisar Khan are essential to mapping out these new territories," according to Justin Doo.

Nisar Khan will be based in Dubai while taking on Gulf-wide responsibilities. A career spent retailing applications, ranging from Finite Element Analysis to Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering, means he is more than prepared for meeting the exact needs of Internet and Network Security users in the region.

"I'm looking forward to driving sales in this region and reinforcing Trend Micro's leadership on web threat issues," said Khan. "Whereas my pursuit of sales is a commercial enterprise, Trend Micro is simultaneously servicing the public through its ability to prevent online fraud."
