Dubai to invest $70m in Comoros

Dubai World, the holding company for the emiraet, will invest $70m in a luxury hotel and residential development in Comoros, in the Indian Ocean. The deal includes the formation of a company established specifically for the acquisition, Dubai World Comoros Limited, in which the Comoros Government is a shareholder. Upcoming projects will include refurbishment of the 150-room Le Galawa beach resort and development of 22.5 hectares of adjacent beachfront.
