Any property purchased from ETA Star and its joint venture partners Hircon and Star Giga during the Holy month of Ramadan will result in one per cent of the total sales value being donated to the RCA who in turn will build houses for the needy.

This cooperation between ETA Star and its joint venture partners Hircon and Star Giga with the RCA is expected to help thousands of needy families living around the world.

Commenting on this initiative with the RCA, Mr. Abid Junaid, Executive Director of ETA Star said,

"ETA Star is pleased to be associated with RCA on this campaign. Our mission is to adopt the cause of providing homes to the homeless, especially to those who live under inhuman conditions."

He further added, "This campaign has specially been adopted during the holy month of Ramadan as it symbolizes the 'month of giving'. We are certain that our customers shall support us in this endeavor and will contribute to the same. At ETA Star, our business is 'built on trust'. We are glad that our joint venture partners have also come forward to support us in an initiative that we believe may change lives of several people."

The RCA will use the donations to fulfill the basic needs of impoverished people by gifting a home to them and giving a sense of security to those who have been continuously been effected by rising global unemployment, poverty and selfish political agendas.

Speaking on the enhanced partnership with ETA Star, Mr. Mohammed Al Ahmed, Financial Resource Manager - Red Crescent Authority (RCA), said, "We are pleased that ETA Star and its joint venture partners Hircon and Star Giga have initiated a campaign for a noble cause as providing homes for the needy. It is encouraging to see in the midst of the real estate boom, people in UAE are concerned and contributing towards such causes."

"We are pleased that our property arm, ETA Star has taken this initiative. We are certain that such activities will set new benchmarks for Corporates to follow", said Mr Hakim Al Bannay, General Manager-Corporate Communications, ETA Star Group.

According to Mr. Darshan Hiranandani, Director, Hircon International, "As our project partner for the 23 Marina, we are delighted with the opportunity to contribute towards this noble, humanitarian cause undertaken by ETA Star. From building towers, we have now joined hands to build a better society by helping the needy and underprivileged."

"As a reputable property developer in this part of the region, we at Hircon International are always committed in playing our role as a responsible corporate citizen. Although this is the first charity campaign of its kind undertaken, we believe it will be a success and we will be able to contribute to it." Mr Darshan added.

Commenting on this initiative, Mr Amir Pradesi, Vice Chairman, Mazyood Giga said, "We believe that this programme will be well-accepted by our customers and is a great opportunity for us to give back to the society.
