These meetings can be setup on demand or can be prescheduled.

This new upcoming service will provide the service subscribers with telephone numbers to invite their clients/customers/ colleagues to call at a specified time through a simple process. The host will also provide the attendees of the meetings with a password (for security) which they will have to enter when they dial in the number. The service will benefit users greatly when one or more callers are based outside the UAE, or in other Emirates.

In terms of access customers can either Dial In by calling Toll Free Number where the call charge will be free to the caller and the host will pay the call charge. Alternatively, there is a Dial In option to call 600 Number where the call charge will be shared between the host and the caller. While on the move, a customer can initiate a call by calling Toll Free Number and the host will pay the call charges.

"Audio Conference is an efficient business tool that will provide our customers cost savings in addition to improving productivity by making internal and external communication easier and faster within companies," said Abdulla Hashim, VP, Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Etisalat. "This is a great business tool which will benefit companies across the board ranging from small and medium companies to large enterprises."

The service can accommodate a maximum of 120 callers per single audio conference and has the ability to send email and SMS to inform the participants about the meeting. Customers can also use a user friendly web interface to initiate Audio Conference and record it. Customers also have the option to initiate a meeting while they are on the move by inviting a predefined participants list through a mobile call to an IVR system.

Customers can visit Etisalat stand at Gulfcomms or the nearest Etisalat business centre to have initial registration for the service.
