Better, easier access to government services arrived in Ghayathi today with the opening of the fourth Centre for Integrated Government Services ('TAMM'- which means 'done' in Arabic).

The Centre was inaugurated under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council.

'The TAMM concept of bringing government services to people across the western region has been fast-tracked with great success. We now have four Centres, three of which opened this year,' says Dr. Al Taher Mosabeh Al Kindi, Chairman of the Western Region Municipal Council.

'Western Region residents and businesses now have a choice of Centres in Madinat Zayed, Delma Island, Sila and Ghayathi.'

Hamoud Humaid Al Mansouri, General Manager of the Western Region Municipality adds: 'The Municipality is committed to provide a modern, easy-to-use government in the western region. The Centres for Integrated Government Services are an important part of this effort.

Previously, residents from Ghayathi had to travel to Madinat Zayed or Abu Dhabi to get simple things done like renewing a drivers license or receiving a national identity card. Now, these services are right here in Ghayathi, saving people time and money.'

Khalifa Al Mansoori, Regional Manager, Centre for Integrated Government Services ('TAMM') says: 'Services from 11 different government offices will be available at our Ghayathi location. We're proud to make these services locally available, and also to create employment opportunities for the people of this region with each new Centre.'
