Doleh's presentation was also attended by DWC's senior management, faculty, and staff members.
After briefly reviewing Emaar's achievements, Doleh provided new students with rich, constructive and challenging recommendations on how to shape their futures.
He asked students to take their college experiences seriously and absorb every drop of knowledge they are provided with so they can turn them into the most enriching experiences in their lives.
As for choosing the right major, Doleh believes there is not one criterion that we should all go by.
'You have to make sure you have passion for the major you choose…It is important that you choose something you feel you can contribute to,' he noted.
Understanding the difficulty new students usually face with the English language, Doleh encouraged them to master the English language since it is the language of the world. 'Today, we are considered global citizens and if we are to compete in this world, we have to speak its language.'
The UAE national employment was another issue addressed by Doleh who believes that the UAE is in great need for more of its citizens to take proactive roles in its remarkable development.
'We are privileged to have been born in a country that has such progressive and dynamic leadership, has rich natural resources, and cherishes the value of its people. The one thing that this country needs today is you,' Doleh said while addressing DWC's students.
He also reminded students of the huge responsibility that falls upon them not only as future players in the country's economy but also as future mothers upon whom the UAE's future generations depend.
