Etisalat hosts HH Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi

Director General of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Her Highness Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, visited Etisalat's stand at GULFCOMMS 2007 for a demonstration of the company's latest services for people with special needs.
HH Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qassimi said: "Etisalat's initaitve is a case for how a national corporation can play a vital role in the society within which it operates. The proactive position taken by Etisalat directly supports the strategy of the UAE Government with regard to social development."
HH Sheikha Jamila commented on Etisalat's investment in the introduction for services customized for people with special needs and for social centres that cater to their requirements. Some of the innovative services from Etisalat that can be used by people with special needs include SMS-services, BlackBerry, Location Based Services, Push Email, 3G-Data, Video Calls, Video Conferencing and Al Shamil broadband services.
Other services have been designed for enterprise customers, include email reader, and Push to Talk which help those who suffer from visual impairment. These services and packages are designed to help those with special needs enjoy unrestricted access to education, training, and suitable communication services.
HH Sheikha Jamila added: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Etisalat for its support of people with special needs and its commitment for identifying and introducing new packages tailed for them. Etisalat is one of the first companies to working with us in this regard, and we look forward to more companies following their example."
