CA's 2007 VIP awards regognize local customer and partner achievements in IT management

CA, Inc. honored key customers and partners with Vision, Impact & Progress (VIP) awards for their commitment and partnership in achieving excellence in the overall field of IT management.

A fourth category of Best Newcomer was also introduced this year and awarded to one of CA's partners. The customer winners were Dubai Police for Vision, Dubai International Financial Centre for Impact and The Contact Centre for Progress. The Partner winners were Lateral Systems & Solutions for Vision, Optimiza Solutions for Impact, Devoteam for Progress and NavLink for Best Newcomer.

The winners were determined by a panel of judges who recognized these organizations for achieving excellence in IT management, for demonstrating measurable results from improved IT, and for achieving outstanding implementation success and process improvements.

"We are proud to recognize these customers and partners for their innovation, performance and clear vision in IT management," said Gilbert Lacroix, Senior Vice President for EMEA Channel for CA.

"These awards also give us the opportunity to recognize the hard work our partners and customers put in to the implementation and show appreciation for their support of our industry-leading IT management solutions."


The VIP awards are categorized in three segments which include vision, impact and progress and each category recognizes a company for the specific achievements in their respective fields.

Vision:


The Vision Award recognizes demonstrated success in achieving excellence in IT management and for demonstrating a clear vision of how IT supports overall enterprise success.
• Dubai Police won the Customer Vision Award in recognition of its use of industry leading IT tools and solutions to meet the challenges of managing IT in a dynamic environment both today as well as in the future.
• Lateral Systems & Solutions FZ LLC (LS2) was selected as winner of the Partner Vision Award, having demonstrated tremendous vision and commitment to CA, investing in the future of the relationship through training and certification.

Impact:


The Impact Award recognizes demonstrable and measurable results from improved IT, especially in terms of productivity, financial benefits, quality improvements and/ or customer satisfaction.
• Dubai International Financial Centre was awarded as the Customer Impact winner for the measurable impact on their business as a result of deploying and integrating various CA solutions which included automating core processes, adopting ITIL best practices and establishing service level agreements.
• The winner of the Partner Impact Award was Optimiza Solutions, in recognition of its internal use of CA's software, extensive investment in training and certifications across various CA capability solutions and for numerous successful implementations in Jordan.

Progress:


The Progress Award recognizes organizations that have achieved outstanding implementation success or process improvements.
• The Contact Centre was selected as the Customer Progress winner, for achieving excellence in network management and in optimizing CA's solutions over the years.
• Devoteam won the Partner Progress Award for restructuring its solution business unit to align with the Project and Portfolio Management solution set of CA, thus putting more emphasis on driving CA's revenue in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Best Newcomer:


A fourth category, Best Newcomer, can be given to any partner of CA's choosing.
• NavLink was selected as the winner of the Best Newcomer award, due to their innovative Managed Services business model and regional outlook. NavLink is the first Managed Services provider officially by CA in the Middle East and North Africa region.
