Mohammed bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders' CEO voices support for ICT projects

Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME), participated on the second day of the Reality Check 2.0 panel discussions on 'Entrepreneurship in Information Technology'.

The symposium was organized at the Dubai Internet City Community Zone at GITEX Technology Week 2007.

Speaking on 'Have you got what IT takes?' Al Janahi pointed out the increasing role of information technology across all industry sectors. He highlighted SME's ongoing support for ICT ventures such as 'Freej', the first of its kind animation project conceived by a UAE national.

Brandy Scott from 103.8 Dubai Eye moderated the session. Other panelists included Ahmed Hameed Al Mazroui, Chairman, Board of Trustees, ICT Fund; Feroz Sanaulla, Director of Intel Fund Capital, and Mark Walker, Platform Strategy Manager, Microsoft Gulf.
