Windows ME regional readers vote Etisalat best ISP

Etisalat has been recognized by Windows Middle East, an ITP publication, as Best Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the year 2007.

The winners were voted for by readers of the magazine from around the Middle East, and identified companies and operators in the telecommunications and IT industry from around the region.

Ahmed Abdulkarim Julfar, Chief Operating Officer, Etisalat, said:

"Our Internet services have been empowering life and business in the UAE for a long time and this award encourages us to put more efforts in bringing the best online experience for our customers. We are constantly looking at ways to expand our range of offerings for our customers, and packages such as the soon-to-be-launched 4MB broadband for home package, we are confident of remaining the first and best choice for our customers."


Etisalat has a wide range of packages for home and business Internet users, ranging from dial-up for homes to leased line Internet connections for businesses. The Corporation has played the lead role in driving penetration of the service in the UAE, and currently over 60% of the UAE population has access to the Internet at their home, educational institution or the workplace.
