Microsoft Xbox 360 Gitex Shoppers debut ends on a high note

After a thrilling week of excitement and entertainment, Microsoft Xbox 360 concluded a successful week at GITEX Shoppers 2007.

Microsoft Xbox 360's presence at Gitex Shoppers further strengthened the company's relationship with customers, partners, and industry peers from across the region and beyond.

"Our presence at Gitex Shoppers cements our commitment to the region and we are grateful for the continuous support Microsoft Xbox 360 receives from the government of the UAE," said Armagan Demir, Head of Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division Middle East.

Demir added:

"The Xbox 360 Elite stand at GITEX Shoppers was a fundamental gateway for us to connect with our customers and the gamers of the region. During the entire week, visitors had the chance to play an assortment of games on the new Xbox 360 Elite and experience the next generation of gaming. Visitors were also kept up-to-date with Xbox's much anticipated and soon to be launched Halo 3, the third edition of the Halo series anticipated to be played by millions around the world."


Throughout GITEX Shoppers, Microsoft Xbox 360 gave its stand visitors opportunities to win fabulous Xbox 360 prizes. Microsoft Xbox 360 awarded over 25 Xbox 360 consoles and over 50 Xbox 360 title games throughout the duration of the exhibition. Prizes were given through competitions at the Xbox 360 stand as well as through Microsoft's participating partners at the giant consumer exhibition.

Furthermore, making its debut at the Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite stand was the Forza II racing pod. The striking three-screen virtual driving pod, running the latest Forza II racing car game on the Xbox 360 console, was unveiled at the Shoppers exhibition for all visitors to enjoy. Visitors flocked to the stand to get their ultimate chance in racing exotic cars with the surreal virtual effect portrayed by the Xbox 360.
