The distributor will promote GFI's suite of software products to its established clients in the region, while also driving GFI with new accounts.

Computerlinks Middle East, formerly Fusion Distribution, is one of the region's leading value added distributors for international manufacturers in security technology and its security reseller network runs the entire GCC. Fusion Distribution was acquired by the Computerlinks Group in April 2007 and now is part of a world leading security distribution network with offices in every major country in Europe, US, and now in the Middle East

Lee Reynolds, Director of Computerlinks Middle East, commented:

"We are very excited about the two-tier channel strategy that GFI is creating across the world today. Computerlinks Middle East has one of the strongest security channels to date in the region and we look forward to adding GFI to the product stables of our company and in so doing give more value to our resellers."

GFI will support Computerlinks ME in all aspects that are necessary for them to become successful in promoting GFI products in the Middle East. Both organizations will implement a detailed strategic marketing and communication program to enhance and consolidate GFI's brand in the region. An intense training program is being adopted for all personnel at Computerlinks ME ensuring they are capable of handling all GFI related sales and support enquiries.

"Through this collaboration, Computerlinks ME can now offer the full suite of GFI software to the Middle East market and combined with the value added services provided by Computerlinks ME and their reseller network, GFI can now offer a complete solution which will service all customers' network security, content security and messaging needs," Simon Azzopardi, Vice-President Sales EMEA, said. "Computerlinks ME has extensive experience in the region, as well as outstanding territory coverage and service level. This will be of great value in supporting our planned business expansion in the region," he added.
