"Russia and the CIS are markets we have to sit up and take notice of with Moscow airports now handling approximately 100 business flights a day - which is well above the European average,"
explained Shane O'Hare, President and CEO, Royal Jet.
"The very fact that a specialised exhibition addressing the needs of the Russian and CIS business aviation segment now exists is testimony to the increasing importance of these markets and with Russian interests in the Gulf expanding, it makes keen business sense to ensure our premium offering is front-of-mind- among its businessmen."
O'Hare said the Russian market, in particular, is experiencing increasing demand for corporate and private aircraft services.
"A factor behind the country's growing demand for business aircraft and jet charter services is the fact that Russian and CIS businessmen are increasing buying-in to the business aviation proposition of cost-effectiveness and enhanced privacy."
Upwards of 6000 industry visitors are expected at Jet Expo including high ranking officials of Russian Federation ministries, representatives from the President's administration, chambers of commerce and industry and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
"We hope to leave the exhibition with a slate of premier industry contacts and greater awareness of Royal Jet, its capabilities, unrivalled bespoke service and expanding fleet," added O'Hare.
"Our BBJ fleet, with the aircraft's range of 5,500 nautical miles, equivalent to 10 hours flying time, will particularly suit the Russian corporate market ensuring executives can reach destinations within the Middle East at their own schedules."
