Etihad signs up with Chelsea

Etihad Airways has signed a three year $1m deal to become a platinum sponsor and official international airline partner of English Premier League football team Chelsea FC, reported Emirates Today. The deal was unveiled at Chelsea's training ground in the presence of Etihad's CEO James Hogan, Chelsea's CEO Peter Kenyon and the team's manager Jose Mourinho. Etihad has also recently signed a three year deal with the Harlequins rugby club.
