Opec chief questions $80
- Saudi Arabia: Sunday, September 16 - 2007 at 06:51
Opec Secretary-General Abdullah Al Badri has said the present oil price of around $80 a barrel is not sustainable as the 'fundamentals do not support the price', reported the AFP. Al Badri added that Opec did not 'enjoy' seeing either an especially high or low price for oil. Last week, Opec increased its output by 500,000 barrels per day to help ease supply concerns.
