The platform features will be provided through a user friendly and bilingual web interface covering Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM); Content Management; Provisioning; Content Broadcasting; and Charging.
System administrators and VAS employees at Umniah will be able to use the OAM tool to manage the system through different access rights and log-in information. The tool will also support the management of promotions, channels, workflow, alerts, configurations, reports and statistics.
The Content Delivery Platform will also allow for easy navigation through content repository, flexible search and management of content, definition of content publishing workflow, and content editing version control. In addition, a Content Broadcasting Engine will be in charge of sending and receiving SMS and MMS content, sending alerts, load balancing and prioritising, as well as channels broadcasting.
High security will be maintained throughout the system using critical data encryption for the database, secure login features, and controlled access rights and privileges.
