- PRESS RELEASE
Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), one of the UAE's leading financial institutions, has launched a promotion for its credit and debit card holders on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Commenting on the new promotion, Mr. Thomas Smith, Deputy General Manager for Retail Banking, CBD said: "Usually during Ramadan the spirit of shopping increases and this promotion will encourage CBD cardholders to use their card anywhere, at any time and in any way. By using their cards for transactions, CBD cardholders will be entered into a raffle draw for the chance to enjoy free shopping."
Mr. Smith added: "We are keen to increase card activity and highlight the benefits that accompany our cards such as flexible payment terms and low interest rates. Furthermore, our Tijari Points Rewards Program is another incentive for shopping, as customers are rewarded Tijari Points for their spending using their CBD cards, which can later be redeemed for free gifts up to the cash value of those points from our participating outlets."
"With CBD cards, our customers can manage their finances through responsible card usage. This promotion will encourage our customers to do exactly that and also benefit from the flexibility and security that comes hand in hand with using a credit or debit Card," he continued.
It is worth mentioning that CBD offers a variety of credit cards such as World MasterCard, Visa Infinite, Visa Gold and Classic.
