Opec capacity to hit 35.8m bpd

Opec's production capacity is expected to increase by around 4.7% by the end of next year, hitting 35.8m barrels per day (bpd), up from the current level of 34.2m, reported Gulf News citing figures released by the International Energy Agency (IEA). The IEA predicts that Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Angola and the UAE will drive next year's capacity lift.
