Gulf Bank Ramadan opening hours welcomed by customers

Gulf Bank has decided to introduce its special night time opening hours this Ramadan following the excellent feedback from bank customers ever since the bank started its evening hours during Ramadan.

The initiative was prompted by recommendations from Gulf Bank staff in response to the demands they were receiving from customers for the additional and more convenient hours.

All bank staff working the night time hours volunteered to do the extra shift to deliver a welcome service to customers. Any staff member who works the night time hours is also paid a special bonus.

Gulf Bank was the first bank in Kuwait to open at night during Ramadan. Gulf Bank's General Manager for Retail Banking, Mr. Nazem Alqanae explains: "Even though this is just a few hours in the evening the many of our customers appreciate being able to do their financial transactions at night. I am delighted that so many of our staff are also happy to volunteer to undertake these night time hours and deliver the benefits to our customers."

A total 34 of Gulf Bank's 40 branches will open between the hours of 10am and 1.30pm and again in the evenings from 8pm to 10pm. The KOC, Ministries Complex, Mina Al Zour, Shuwaikh Port, Shuaiba, and Sulaibiyah branches are open between 10am and 2pm.

Gulf Bank is Kuwait's second largest commercial bank and has one of the most extensive networks of local branches. Customers also have round-the-clock access to Gulf Bank's telebanking service on 805805 where staff are also available to speak to customers directly, and online banking at www.e-gulfbank.com, Gulf Bank's bilingual website.
