Security fees in Kuwait

Passengers arriving at or departing from Kuwait International Airport will have to pay a 'security' fee of up to $1.25 from next year, reported the Kuwait Times citing a local newspaper. The fee will be collected by the airlines to help pay for a security system being implemented by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation. The system will provide details on passengers and their luggage to staff at destination airports.
