Emirates Bank organizes open day of walk-in interviews for UAE Nationals

In line with its strategic plan to attract and recruit UAE Nationals, Emirates Bank organized an open day of walk-in interviews for UAE Nationals at the Sofitel hotel.

Recruitment managers and officers representing Emirates Bank Human Resources department were present at the venue all day to welcome candidates who have come for interviews. Potential recruits were assessed on the spot and were made offers to join the bank's work force instantaneously.

"We are very happy to organize this open day of walk-in interviews for UAE Nationals" said Mr. Suhail Bin Tarraf, Head of Resourcing at Emirates Bank. "Emirates Bank is one of the leading financial institutions in the UAE in terms of Emiratization with more than 40% of our workforce consisting of UAE Nationals. With such initiatives, we aim to reinforce our position in the market and increase the number of Emiratis among our staff", he added.

Emirates Bank Group employs more than 1,100 UAE Nationals. The bank has a strategic plan in place to attract, recruit, train, and develop UAE Nationals who are expected to contribute to the unprecedented growth that is witnessed in all the support and business areas in the bank.

Ms. Hessa Al Ghurair, Recruitment Manager at Emirates Bank said, "Our open day of walk-in interviews for UAE Nationals was very successful. We have attracted more than 100 UAE National candidates from all the Emirates in the country. 36 candidates were given offers to join the bank."

Emirates Bank's plan to attract UAE Nationals includes, in addition to organizing open days for walk-in interviews, participating to Emiratization career fair and exhibitions and arranging for recruitment fairs at schools, colleges, and universities across the UAE.
