Etisalat goes for gold with UAQ football sponsorship

Etisalat has signed on as Gold sponsor of the Sheikh Rashid Bin Soud Al Mualla Football Tournament, held under the patronage of HH Sheik Soud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown prince of Umm Al Quwain, between 14th September and 5th October 2007.
The Sheikh Rashid Bin Soud Al Mualla Football Tournament is one of the most popular Ramadan sport events for youth, and is now in its fifth year. Participation in the tournament is open to all residents of the UAE and other Arab nations. This tournament has over the years seen excellent response and support from football enthusiasts and the media.
Ahmed Mahmoud said: "Etisalat has long been associated with some of the most popular sport initiatives in the UAE, and we are very happy to once again support the Sheikh Rashid Bin Soud Al Mualla Football Tournament in Umm Al Quwain. We look forward to an exciting season that will add to the joy of the Holy Month of Ramadan, and we wish the organizers, the teams and all the players the very best."
Etisalat has long been associated with sport tournaments in general and football in particular. The Telco has earlier sponsored the Etisalat Football League, the UAE-Brazil football match, the youth tournaments at the Wahda Club, and other tournaments both locally and internationally.
