  • Tuesday, September 18 - 2007 at 09:51

Net profits of Middle Eastern airlines will be $200 million in 2007, far less than previous forecasts of $500 million, reported Gulf News citing a report by the International Air Transport Association. The report suggests that while Emirates airlines continues to perform well, other airlines in the region are posting losses as part of their build up phase. The report predicts a slight improvement in 2008, with regional airlines expected to earn $300m in profits.
