Real estate developer Hydra Properties sponsors Ramadan event in nation's capital

The event will feature cultural activities and competitions along with Islamic related activities that will take place in the Village which is located on Abu Dhabi's breakwater throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid.

The event will be part of the company's social responsibility program.

Elaborating on the company's focus of sponsoring such cultural events, Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, Chief Executive Officer, Hydra Properties, said: "We are honored to be associated with this event during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which contributes towards human development awakening the social consciousness in individuals. Being the event's main sponsor gives us the unique opportunity to do something significant in contributing towards molding the social and moral fiber of the country's youth."

Through various competitions and activities, the Ramadan program will test the youth's knowledge of the region's culture and traditions thus realizing the key objectives of the event's organizers, Emirates Heritage Club, which manages Heritage Village. The Club has played a crucial role in strengthening the cultural identity of the Emirates by connecting the past with the present to preserve the country's rich legacy for future generations.

As a real estate developer Hydra Properties has played a key role in transforming the UAE's landscape by providing the latest concepts in state-of-the-art living that can be seen in some of the most prestigious residential and business developments in the UAE.

Additionally in its significant contributions to UAE's culture and youth development Hydra has sponsored similar national and international events. One such event being the President's Equestrian Cup races in Hamburg Germany, UK and France earlier this summer.

Similarly the Camel Beauty Pageant held in Abu Dhabi in June and July this year was another event steeped in the region's culture that received Hydra's sponsorship. Hydra has also sponsored educational activities such as a one-day conference of students from Zayed University's College for Communications and Media Science Department.
