The workshops aim to enhance the federal officials' understanding of the UAE Government Strategy, its vision, mechanism and objectives, while ensuring the successful implementation of the Strategy's objectives.
Organised by the Prime Minister's Office, in collaboration with Dubai School of Government, the workshops will run until 24 September at the Emirates Towers Hotel.
In her opening remarks, Ohood Al Roumi, the Executive Director of the Prime Minister's Office, presented an overview of the UAE Government Strategy and its objectives. She stressed the importance of synergising individual federal strategic plans to achieve unified goals.
Dr. Tarek A. Hatem, Professor of Management at the American University in Cairo and Associate Lecturer at Dubai School of Government, and Hassan Khudair, Senior Management Consultant at the Prime Minister's Office, led the discussions.
A similar workshop will be organised by the Prime Minister's Office in Abu Dhabi from 23-27 September at the Rotana Beach Hotel. The two meetings mark the UAE Government Strategy's third phase of implementation.
Last March, representatives of the ministerial strategic planning teams attended two workshops on the UAE Government Strategy.
Workshop on UAE Government Strategy opens in Dubai
Over 50 senior officials of the UAE federal government authorities' strategic teams are participating in a series of workshops as part of the third stage of implementation of the UAE Government Strategy that opened today in Dubai.
