Orders of A380s total $18bn

Habib Fekih, President of Airbus Middle East, said orders for Airbus A380 in the region would reach about $18bn by the end of 2007, reported Emirates Today. So far Airbus has sold 64 A380s in the Middle East, each costing about $250m. It hopes to close the year with over eight additional orders for the superjumbo. Airbus's orders include 55 from Emirates, four from Etihad Airways and five from Qatar Airways.
