RTA, Cisco Systems to develop relations

Abdullah Al Madani, CEO of Corporate Support Services Sector, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently received a delegation from the Cisco Systems Company headed by Marc de Simone, Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa.
Al Madani reaffirmed RTA's commitment to strengthen its relations with various companies and global institutions to take advantage of their services and products for the development of the RTA action mechanism through the use of techniques and innovative solutions offered by these companies and keep abreast of the development in this area.
He briefed the visiting delegation to the electronic services provided by RTA in a way that goes with the progress being achieved in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular in all fields, including the development of the electronic side, which is sponsored and supervised by the e-government of Dubai in order to accomplish all electronic transactions transparently and speedily.
Mark De Simone, Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, Cisco Systems Company praised the efforts exerted by RTA, and the pivotal role they play in the expansion and development of the road network and public transport through the giant projects being implemented and strategic initiatives it launches, which orchestrate with the development being made in Dubai in various fields, and economic and commercial sectors, including the service sector that is considered an important indicator of progress and growth witnessed by the UAE.
