Tom Lind joins AB Capital as Head of Investment Banking

Mr. Tom Lind has joined AB Capital, the Investment Banking arm of the Arab Bank Group, as Managing Director, Investment Banking.

In this function, Tom will be responsible for building a Capital Markets and M&A Advisory platform for the GCC market.

Tom joins AB Capital from the Saudi Hollandi Bank ("SHB") in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he was the Head of Investment Banking and Structured Finance for the past 4 years.

Tom built the Investment Banking function at SHB from scratch (Advisory, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets and Structured Finance) and turned it into one of the strategic lines of business for the bank. Under his leadership, SHB was involved in most major transactions in Saudi Arabia and obtained 3 international awards for advisory and finance, including SABIC's YANSAB transaction.

Prior to his most recent assignment at SHB, Tom spent 17 years at ABN AMRO in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in corporate and investment banking. He was posted in Turkey Bahrain, Poland, Greece and Holland (Amsterdam).
