Etisalat's Weyak is demonstrating a range of new services for the first time in the UAE.

Weyak customers can access and interact with the different services through their mobile phone or on the web at www.weyak.ae. These services will be displayed on the Etisalat stand at GITEX, and are laid out to bring an unmatched experience to all stand visitors.

Using the Weyak MMS2Blog service, Weyak customers will be able to post pictures and messages to their blog via MMS. This service enables a rich, interactive experience and is now available for Etisalat customers to use.

The Weyak Video Blogging service, which will be launched soon, gives customers the ability to post video blogs and to share it with others from their mobile phones. These videos can be instantly recorded and uploaded to the 3.5G Network. The Weyak video blog is similar to a video call service and can be used on the Weyak portal by dialing a specific number.

The Weyak Video Push services will allow sports lovers to stay up-to-date with their sports club news and matches as per their personal preference. Customers can receive sport videos of their favourite league, favourite team goals or breaking news via their mobile. Many choices will also be available for selection with the most exciting clips of the games.

Greetune service for consumer and corporate
The Greetune service allows subscribers to express their individuality by selecting and personalizing the tones that their callers hear. Etisalat has introduced new features on the Weyak portal of its Greetune service, enabling both business and individual mobile customers to further personalize their tones.

Recently, the Weyak portal had extended its Greetune catalogue selection making available EMI and SonyBMG tones which have the latest and trendiest musicians and tones.

Etisalat is also the first operator in the region to introduce the corporate Greetune service for corporate customers, enabling them to have their own tones and promotional messages as a ring back tone on the company's mobile phones.

The enhanced Greetune service offers features such as gifting tones to friends and loved ones, shuffling tones by changing their sequence so callers can hear a different tune each time they call, copying tunes from any callers album, scheduling a tune to be played at different times of the day for different callers, assigning individual tunes to a specified group of callers such as family, friends and colleagues and finally setting tunes to be played on special dates.

Using the Weyak Music service, customers can purchase full track downloads and create their own play lists. The service will also allow the transfer of music directly to different technologies, including MP3 and other mobile devices.
