Autumn Trade Fair 2007 kick starts today

The 10 day long fair will be held till 29 September 2007 with special timings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 12 midnight on all days, expect for Fridays.

The exhibition will begin from 7 p.m. and go on till 1 a.m on Fridays.

The biggest shopping extravaganza in Oman and the region, the fair will also have a special day, September 23 dedicated for ladies who can explore the event to the fullest and September 25 for families to shop to their hearts content.

Autumn Trade Fair is distinguished by the large number of international participants, from over 20 countries across the world ensuring a truly global experience, along with local companies showcasing a wide array of innovative products. Over 300 exhibitors, including leading companies from Oman will participate alongside overseas exhibitors from China, Canada, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, Egypt, UAE, Syria, Kuwait, KSA and Lebanon.

"This is the largest shopping extravaganza in Oman and several companies have realised the value of participating in this premier show. We have had a highly favourable response, resulting in an influx of first time exhibitors this year. The event also attracts a large number of visitors from Oman and the Gulf region and we expect a bigger turnout given the upbeat economic conditions in the country. Last year, the fair drew 170,000 visitors." stated Mr. Sadiq Ahmed Khan, Director - Sales & Marketing of OITE.

OTE group, a renowned name in business arena in Oman will participate as platinum sponsor at the Autumn Trade Fair along with Syrian based apparel establishment Toutoungi Trading. Windows2000, leading manufacturer of UPVC Windows and Door systems will also showcase a range of products at the fair.

A diverse range of the most innovative and trendy consumer products ranging from apparels, artifacts, handicrafts, jewellery, silverware, watches, pottery, glassware, paintings, furnishing, giftware, food stuff, toys, stationery, flowers, leather products, crockery, bags, lighting and household products will be featured at the fair.
