QIA buys 14% of OMX

The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has bought up around 14% of Nordic market operator OMX's shares, reported Reuters citing a Swedish news agency. The QIA has also approached two further shareholders, Investor and Nordea, regarding their combined holdings of 15.9%, offering an alleged 260 Swedish crowns per share. The move follows the agreement signed on Thursday between Nasdaq and Borse Dubai to buy OMX.
