Lune Energy Syrian deal

Syria's Ministry of Petroleum and the Syrian Petroleum Company have signed a deal with Canada's Lune Energy regarding oil exploration and development in the cities of Lattakia, Aleppo, Hama and Idlib, reported the Syria Arab News Agency. Lune will conduct geological surveys and exploratory drilling over a four year period. The Syrian government will retain 12.5% of any future revenues with the remainder split between Lune and the Syrian Petroleum Company.
