Laila Hareb, Director of Customer Service Centers Dep't, at RTA Corporate Support Services Sector stated that RTA Subsidiary Centers, which currently amount to 65 centers, have been established to provide diverse services to customers, cut short distances covered by customers, and cover wider geographical area in the emirate of Dubai, rendering them accessible to all.
'Cases processed currently exceed 9000 cases per day attended to by 290 employees. The Customer Service Center at Deira Traffic Building at Al Tawar, which is manned by 26 employees, leads all centers in terms of cases processed as it processes 900 - 1000 cases every day. It is followed by Al Qusais Tasjeel Center at EPCO at Muhaisna, which is manned by 18 employees, processes 800-900 cases. T.Com Center ranks at the tail of list of subsidiary centers, as it processes 3 cases daily depending on employee only' said Laila.
She added that RTA subsidiary centers spread over several locations, including EPCO Petrol Station, Emarat Petrol Corporation, Public Transport Agency at Muhaisna, Public Buses Stations, Abra Stations, Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, Rashid Port, Union Cooperative Society, Deira City Center, Jumeira Plaza Center, Al Ghandi Group, Saif Balhasa Group, EPCO Station, Al Futtaim Group, Arabian Automobiles, Gargash Enterprises, Al Sherawi Enterprises, Al Habtoor Motors, Galadari Motors, Al Yousuf Motors, Suwaidan Co., Galadari Institute, Emirates Institute, Al Ahli Institute, and T.com. Six other centers conduct vehicle testing of their own vehicles, namely: Dubai Police Workshop, Emirates Transport, Gargash Enterprises at Al Rashidiya, Swaidan Automobiles, Al Sherawi Enterprises, and Dubai Taxi Agency.
Laila further mentioned that services delivered to customers include driver licensing, vehicle licensing, commercial licensing, distinguished numbers, institutes, control & inspection, issue of import plates, vehicle testing, receipt of ownership, learning of driving, bus riding, abra riding, card selling, transport tickets selling, provision of taxi, follow-up of lost items, payment of fines, receipt of seasonal parking permits, and attend to public & clients inquires.
RTA offers 30 services through 65 subsidiary centers, 9000 cases processed everyday
The number of cases processed on daily basis by customer service centers of the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has reached to 9000 cases submitted through 65 subsidiary centers, including more than 30 services rendered to customers.
