Among the companies that will showcase their products at Eid Festival 2007 are W.J. Towell & Co. LLC, National Tea Co. LLC, Al Reef LLC, Al Nijris, Qantab Dunes and Al Diwaniya Perfumes. Many other local companies have also expressed their intention to participate and they are expected to sign up soon as the event draws near.
'Over the years, more and more companies are discovering the value of the Eid Festival as an excellent platform for promoting their products and strengthening the position of their brands in the market,' said C. J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading organiser of trade and consumer exhibitions in the sultanate.
Paul pointed out that this will be the 22nd year in a row that the Eid Festival is held in the sultanate. The international consumer fair, which runs for a total of nine days, has consistently distinguished itself as the biggest shopping festival in Oman by showcasing a wide range of products from all over the world.
This year, visitors to the exhibition will have a great time checking out various types of food products, garments and textiles, home décor and furnishings, toys and baby products as well as fashion accessories. Eid Festival 2007 will also showcase a wide selection of beauty products, shoes and bags, carpets, curtains, furniture, handicrafts and hundreds of other products.
'With thousands of visitors including whole families coming to the Eid Festival every day, the event gives companies an opportunity to present their products directly to their target customers,' Paul stressed.
'The fact that it coincides with Eid celebrations is also a major advantage to exhibitors because people are generally in the mood to shop during holidays.'
Paul revealed that in addition to companies from Oman, Eid Festival 2007 will also feature a large number of exhibitors from other countries including Syria, Thailand, Egypt, India, Pakistan, China, Africa and the United Arab Emirates. The international exhibitors are expected to bring in many new products that will surely attract the interest of shoppers.
