Aydagul will oversee all aspects of OBG's The Report: Abu Dhabi 2008, which will provide in-depth analysis of the domestic and foreign political landscape, macroeconomic policy and sectoral developments, and is considered to be one of the region's leading publications covering foreign direct investment into the emirate.

Aydagul takes up the new post after acting as OBG's Country Director in Bahrain, Qatar, Malaysia and Brunei, where she oversaw and directed the group's annual publications on the region's economies. She was responsible for OBG's expansion in South-East Asia with her role in Malaysia, and established a network of some 1000 VIPs, creating awareness, forging partnerships with local government bodies and multi-national companies.

Elizabeth Boissevain, OBG's Director of Field Operations said, 'Abu Dhabi has astonished the world by its development under wise guidance from its government, and this has been recognised by major corporations from all over the world who are seeking to establish or expand their investments in the emirate.

Neslihan is taking on her new role at a time when the UAE Capital is entering a truly exciting time of change and diversification.'

Aydagul also previously worked for Turkey's NTV in Washington DC and in Istanbul, and as a corporate relations and business development specialist for a tourism group in Turkey. Subsequently she researched, analysed and published special industrial reports on Taiwan's textile and iron and steel industries, on Hong Kong's textile industry, and the Indonesian oil and gas industry for international business magazines. During this time she conducted interviews with general manages, CEOs and presidents of multinational companies, and was responsible for financing and the commercial aspects of the projects, managing the journalistic team and staff.
