Commenting on the triple win, Abdul Hameed Al Sunaid, CEO, said:

'We value our long standing partnership with Nokia and it is a great honour to be recognized by them for our achievements on various levels. The North West Africa region is a key market for i2 and we will continue to develop our operations in the market. We have a strong team in this region and the awards recognize their hard work and initiative.'

For i2 Egypt, the award is not a new achievement, the company has previously been named by Nokia as 'Best Distributor in North East Africa' 2006; 'Best Overall Marketing Distributor' 2005; and 'Best Domestic Newcomer in the Middle East and Africa', 2004. i2 Tunisia, which has completed 8 years of operations, is a first time recipient of the Nokia Award, winning under the 'Best Product Availability' category.

i2 Senegal too welcomes the Nokia award with great excitement especially since it is the first time that the company has been recognized by the mobile phone manufacturer at their annual conference, it was awarded the 'Best Retail Initiative' recognition.
