H.E.Mohamed Khalaf Al Mazrouei ADACH, Director General said that this collaboration will launch a new musical initiative for the benefit of music lovers in the region and the provide a platform for the museum's scholary research and core disciplines.
The Louvre Auditorium's Artistic Director, Mme Monique Deveaus visited ADACH to get a feel for local culture, venues, existing programmes and plans for the future.
The collaboration is based on the long experience of Louvre's Auditorium, which opened along with pyramid in 1989.
The Auditorium is located just beneath it, in the center of the Louvre complex.
The 450- seat hall is endowed with excellent acoustics and optimal sightlines throughout .
Equipped with state - of - the - art audiovisual equipment, the Auditorium presents a wide spectrum of events, ranging from slide lectures to silent films with live musical accompaniment.
A new initiative in music, a collaboration between the Louvre and Abu Dhabi Authority for Culutre and Heritage
The Louvre and ADACH are in the process of designing a music programme, which will include concerts, educational projects for young musicians and live webcasts between Paris and Abu Dhabi with an aim to bringing music to a wider audience.
