Taking place from the 11-15 December 2007, Dubai International Jewellery Week, builds upon the international interest in the Middle East's jewellery landscape to provide a week long extravaganza of three distinct shows - Areeq Dubai, Jewellery Collections Dubai and Jewellery Trade Dubai. These three new tailored events deliver focused forums for traders, consumers and exhibitors from across the globe with more than 400 exhibitors from over 20 countries.

Speaking about the new format, Mr. Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of DWTC, said 'The jewellery market has grown tremendously over the past few years in tandem with the growing affluence in the region. To cater to this influential market, Dubai International Jewellery Week has been created to deliver distinctive business-to-business and business-to-consumer strategies for a more effective customer focused exhibition platform. '

Areeq Dubai, the crowning glory of Dubai International Jewellery Week is a highly exclusive event for the discerning jewellery connoisseur of the region. Taking place from the 13 - 15 December, and with Fashion TV Arabia as the event's Official TV Channel, Areeq Dubai delivers a boutique event for high-end luxury jewellery and time pieces, where designers will showcase some of the world's best creations from Harry Winston, Chopard, Adler, Jacob & Co, Miki Moto, Pasquale Bruni, de Grisogono to name a few.

The event will gather the region's elite for an invitation only, VIP preview on the 12 December, as well as a glamorous Gala Dinner for Dubai's high-society. This evening offers guests a unique opportunity to take part in an exclusive auction of a diamond studded top by the late Gianfranco Ferre, details of which to be revealed shortly.

Jewellery Collections Dubai will be the ultimate jewellery retail event of the year, featuring an extensive showcase of jewellery and timepieces from across the globe. Taking place from the 11-15 December, Jewellery Collections Dubai will showcase the latest jewellery collections and designers from Al Masaood, Dhamani, Damas, Europearls, Rosy Blue, Samra and Thamina as well as catwalks, and informative seminars, Jewellery Collections Dubai will definitely have something for everyone highlighting the true global appeal of this diverse event.

And from the 11-13 December, Jewellery Trade Dubai the show's answer to the ever-growing regional demand for a specialised trade event for the jewellery industry takes place. This focused event provides a dedicated event for global and regional manufacturers and suppliers to meet fellow traders from the Gulf, North Africa, India and beyond.
