Revolutionary European Business Center provides Nortel Converged Communications to speed time-to-market for Dubai enterprises

This will enable businesses installed at EBC's 25,000 square meter complex to benefit immediately from fixed and mobile communications services provided anywhere, anytime within the complex. This enhanced connectivity is designed to boost productivity and improve collaboration among colleagues.

EBC deployment will include a comprehensive portfolio of Nortel solutions. Nortel Ethernet Routing Switches 8600 and Ethernet Routing Switches 4500 provide reliable connectivity. IP Telephony is enabled through Nortel's full-featured Communication Server 1000E IP PBX.

Nortel Application Switches deliver application availability, performance and security by balancing and accelerating traffic and by giving IT Managers control over their network. Nortel VPN Routers provide routing, IPSec and SSL VPN, firewall, bandwidth management, encryption, authentication, and data integrity for secure connectivity across managed IP networks and the Internet.

Nortel's WLAN 2300 series will provide EBC with the flexibility to wirelessly access online resources from anywhere within the building, with comprehensive security features to authenticate and authorize different types of users as well as protect against intrusion.
