The segregated partitions are dedicated solely for receiving and processing of applications for its large female customer base.

The 'women only' sections that will be implemented in all the departments throughout the city are set to ease communication for the general public. The decision was taken with a view to facilitate the process for businesswomen, housewives and working women who extensively use the department's various services.

The new sections will also ease work pressure in crowded departments that deal with visa issuance for domestic servants and businesspeople in the Naturalization and Passports Section.

As witnessed in the past, the new sections are slated to improve service efficiency and effectiveness for the general public. Previously, three separate halls for women were implemented at the residency and entry permit sections; a move that resulted in better performance, superior productivity and better customer satisfaction.

The decision by DNRD to improve its services for the female customers is testament to the department's eagerness to further professional excellence in providing services to the diverse segments of the society.
