Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed honors Etisalat for its diamond sponsorship

HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, gave tribute yesterday during a ceremony to honor Etisalat, for its generous support and contribution of AED 25million to the Emirates Foundation.
Nasser Bin Obood said: "We are proud to be part of what Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed considers as the nations treasures. We will remain committed to the values of understanding and goodwill that Sheikh Zayed Al Nahayan cherished, may he rest in peace."
He added: "We were honored for our diamond sponsorship of Emirates Foundation which has established many good initiatives and has accomplished many great achievements which coincide with Etisalat's key values and strategies in supporting the community. Emirates Foundation has launched overseas educational programmes, sponsored Common educational programme, social development projects in Ras Al Khaimah, rehabilitation centre, Takatof programme to promote volunteerism, and many other initiatives."
Emirates Foundation remains one of the core organizations that benefits the community and was established by the government of the UAE in year 2005, to enable the private and public sectors to launch new initiatives that contributes to the development of the community.
Etisalat has supported many projects and social initiatives in the country and is one of the most committed supporter of worthy social causes among corporates with the latest initiative being its donation of AED 25 million to the "Dubai Cares" campaign last week.
