The contract was signed by the Chairperson of the Fund's Board of Directors, Ms. Lina Kopty and CEO of HSBC Jordan, Mr. Ray Webber. According to this agreement, the sponsorship will cover living expenses, educational fees, training course fees, counseling services and medical insurance for ten of the Fund's beneficiaries for the period of one year, in addition to supporting Al-Aman Fund's Ramadan media campaign.

Mr. Webber explained that HSBC has always committed itself to supporting the sectors of education and social development and is happy to help orphaned and abandoned youth to become successful members of society.

Elaborating further, Mr. Webber said, "We are committed to projects that promise a better education for Jordan's youth who are tomorrow's leaders. This is precisely why we salute Al-Aman Fund and the efforts it makes to secure a better future for Jordan's younger orphaned citizens."

Chairperson of the Fund's Board of Directors, Lina Kopty commented, "All of the Support Schemes offered by the Al-Aman Fund are a result of the vision of the Fund's founder, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, and her ongoing efforts to secure a better tomorrow for the orphans of Jordan."

She added, "We believe in the abilities of our young beneficiaries, and we are, therefore, continuously striving to provide them with new educational and work experiences. We would like to sincerely thank HSBC for their support and we hope that they will continue to offer their financial and emotional support for our beneficiaries as every penny donated to the Fund counts."

Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans is an independent non-governmental organization founded in 2006 by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah. Al-Aman Fund equips orphaned youth, who graduated from orphan care centers at the age of 18, with the education and skills necessary to become successful, self-reliant and productive members of society. This is done by operating five Support Schemes responsive to their needs. The Support Schemes are: Educational Scholarships, Coverage of Living Expenses, Counseling, Apprenticeship & Employment, and Medical Insurance.
