Sony Gulf FZE launches the latest Cyber-shot T200 & T70 cameras

Implementing the new smile shutter function, the Cyber-shot T200 and Cyber-shot T70 shoots automatically when a smiling face is detected. The flagship model, Cyber-shot T200 incorporates a wide 3.5-inch LCD touch-screen (16:9 ratio), one of the largest in the market to make viewing and sharing of images convenient while the Cyber-shot T70 has a 3-inch wide LCD touch-screen.

Sony has developed the unique 'Smile Shutter' technology for these new Cyber-shot T200 and T70 for the first time. With Sony's proprietary algorithm, the intelligent auto shutter system can detect a smiling face and activates the shooting mode. Ideal for joyous occasions, these Cyber-shot cameras ensure that a happy moment is never to be missed.

The new Cyber-shot T models complement high-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar optics (T200 with 5x optical zoom, T70 with 3x optical zoom) and 8.1 effective mega pixel resolution with the powerful Sony-developed BIONZ engine. This responsive imaging processor controls autofocus, exposure and other picture settings for beautiful results under a wide range of shooting conditions - even tricky back-lit portraits. Both have a new 16:9 aspect ratio wide LCD screen that implements a new 230,000 dot high resolution touch screen interface to allow convenient operation and is layered with an anti-reflective AR coating to achieve high visibility even in strong sunlight.

It's easy to enjoy the finest quality High Definition images captured with the T200 and T70 on a BRAVIA LCD TV or an HD Ready display (via HD component cable) so you can share your beautiful images with friends and family. Music can accompany the slideshows for an extra dimension of enjoyment to your photos. Slideshows can be personalised further with MP3 background music tracks imported from a PC.

With Sony's advanced Bionz imaging processor and Super SteadyShot™ optical image stabilization, the new Cyber-shot cameras shoot high quality images in high speed with its fast processing power for quick motion shoots.

The new touch screen interface of the T200 and T70 incorporates a user-friendly shooting function that allows accurate focusing and switching on the Face Detection mode. Alternatively, the photographer can also express an artistic side by changing the focus in the screen other than the subject. The new Cyber-shot cameras also incorporate fun and retouching elements such as the "Paint" function with a wide collection of different stamps to decorate the pictures and the in-camera retouching functions to fine tune images for the perfect touch.

Options for adding extra polish to your images have also been increased. Enhanced in-camera touch-up functions now include 'Radial Blur' for dynamic freeze-frame effects, while 'Retro' authentically recreates the feel of an old-fashioned camera.

The Cyber-shot T200 is available in black, silver and red and the Cyber-shot T70 comes in black, silver, pink and white and is available at all Jumbo Electronics outlets in the UAE and other select stores.
