Tameer, the region's leading real estate developer, has chosen 'RMJM', a UK-based, international architectural firm, to carry on the consulting services for design and supervision of the 'Tameer Towers' located in Dubai Business Bay, the region's leading financial and business hub.
Expected to be completed by 2010, the project will be composed of 3 towers, classified at a 7 star standard and finished according to international guidelines with a total value of AED 1.83 billion, making this project a unique development in Business Bay.
Speaking on these iconic towers, Eng. Abdulhamid Moukayed - Tameer's Managing Director in Dubai and Northern Emirates, said: "These towers will feature dynamic modern architecture, state of the art amenities and advanced technologies. Its location will be of major significance and importance to Tameer, as it will be home to Tameer's new headquarters, where the team will work in a favorable business environment. This project will be offered to various social segments," he added.
Commenting on the deal with RMJM, Moukayed said: "Tameer has selected the award winning RMJM not only for their design creativity, but also for their experience in the Dubai property market, where they have announced grand entrances for a number of luxury, high-end projects, which reflects their credibility and commitment to client needs.
Tameer intends to dedicate two out of the three towers for residential purposes, which will feature the best amenities and services, while the third tower, where the Tameer Headquarters will be based, will be mixed-use. There will be plush, high-end hotel apartments, a 7 star hotel, a business center and commercial offices and high-tech communication services and security, all developed at a competitive standard, compared to other towers under construction in the region.
