This initiative has proved to be a great opportunity to stir the spirit of competition and teamwork as well as health and fitness among local youth. Sorouh's sponsorship of the AFOC's 11th Sports Festival is an indication of its continuous support for initiatives that promote healthy minds and bodies.
AFOC's 11th Sports Festival this year is characterized by the distinct presence of women through a championship dedicated for them, which includes activities such as volleyball, bowling, table tennis, shooting, tennis, football and chess. Moreover there is an open championship for men which will include 8 sport activities.

AFOC's 11th Sports Festival started on the 16 September 2007 and will continue until 27 September 2007 at the Armed Forces Officers Club.
