These spacious, fully equipped luxury vehicles will operate on a 'call on demand' basis and will transport passengers to any point within the United Arab Emirates.

The cars have been specially manufactured to suit the climate and traffic conditions of the GCC region. Distinct from London's classic black taxis, these Gulf versions have been fabricated in a shiny pearl white. They are currently being assembled in the 'International London Taxi' factory, located in the city of Coventry, Britain.

'By launching this fleet of luxurious limousine cars in Abu Dhabi, we are assisting in our capital's desire to become a tourist destination. These vehicles are unique in that they have been produced in the traditional London taxi style, with a genuine Emarati touch. We are confident that these shiny pearl white cars will become an icon of Abu Dhabi,' said His Excellency Eng. Salah Salem Bin Omeir Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Al Qudra Holding.

'Since its inception, Al Qudra Holding has consistently initiated new ideas to meet the rapid economic growth witnessed in the capital city. That was one of the main reasons Q-link Transport was launched,' Al Shamsi added.

Q-Link Transport's General Manager, Eng. Al Hadi Tahboub stated, 'in addition to their lavish and spacious interiors, the new cars have been assembled to meet Gulf standards and specifications. Ideal for both tourists and the residents, the vehicles are equipped with all the comforts a prestigious taxi service should provide and more. Built-in flat screen televisions will provide tourist information and explain the attractions of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.'
