Users can log on to i2 club from their phones to download the themes.
'We wanted to do something special for our customers for the holy month and what better way than special Ramadan themes on their phones. These themes are a reminder of all that the season signifies and we are happy to bring this to our customers,' said Jihad El Eit, Senior Vice President, Marketing, i2.
Apart from the exclusive themes, i2 also sells special edition Nokia phones that feature a host of Islamic applications. Nokia 6120 c, 6300 and 3110, for instance, have Ramadan Greeting Cards and Islamic Organizer. 6120 c also has a Universal Dictionary. The Nokia E series have Islamic Organizer, Hajj, Omra, Azkar and Ramadaniat, the E90 also features Quran.
N95 has all the main Islamic features while N73 Deluxe, in addition, has names of Allah, Islamic E-Books and Ramadan Rituals.
The special edition phones are available at i2 stores across UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran & Iraq.
